This year’s VBS program is SonWorld Adventure Park and is a week of fun and adventure! It will be held July 14^th – 18^th from 9:00 A.M. – 12:00 Noon with a closing program on Friday night the 18^th. At SonWorld Adventure Park your kids will experience the fun and excitement of an amusement park! Children will have a great time singing, watching skits, creating crafts and playing games. But most important, they’ll discover more about who Jesus is and about some important choices everyone has to make. “We’re looking forward to sharing this exciting event with the children and parents in our neighborhood. We hope they will all join us at SonWorld Adventure Park.” A registration form is in this newsletter if you know of anyone interested in attending.

The following is a list of craft supplies that we will be using, if you have any of these items, please bring them in and put them in the VBS box.

18 – 36 baby crew socks

(make sure they are crew style not high socks)

400 round balloons (8 – 11 inch)

beans or rice to fill balloons (10 lbs.)

100 8 ½ x 11” yellow craft foam

1 large bag sunflower seeds

30 plastic coins(gold, silver)

2 packages batting for pillows

1 pkg. Small black rubber hair elastics (1”)

100 paint stirrer sticks

30 child’s plastic headband

30 bottles craft glue

blue masking tape

permanent markers

washable markers masking tape

glitter pens

200 flat lollipops

75 4” plastic flower pots

4 rolls clean contact paper

plastic gems(a lot)

Snacks for refreshment time:

Crackers Goldfish

Graham crackers Saltines

Jell-o packages Popcorn

Cookies Pretzels

Watermelon for Friday’s picnic

Refreshments for Friday closing program

Prizes for children ages Pre-K through 6^th grade.

We will need many helpers to make this years VBS successful. If you would like to help, please come to one of our Monday & Wednesday night work nights, which will continue through July 9^th on the 3^rd floor at 7:00 P.M. We will be preparing decorations, skit props, and craft items. If anyone is interested helping in any area, please contact Becky Genevicz or Lana Bilichka.
